Corruption that is still rampant in Indonesia, apart from involving those who work in government agencies, it also involves entrepreneurs or people who are engaged in private business. The Deputy for Prevention of the Corruption Eradication Commission makes the private sector one of the focus areas of work. The Directorate of Education and Community Services has a role to encourage:
- the establishment of change agents in the private sector,
- the formation and implementation of policies and regulations that can strengthen efforts to eradicate corruption in the private sector,
- the realization of collaborative actions to eradicate corruption in the private sector.
In supporting these efforts, the Directorate of Education and Community Services has prepared business integrity learning modules that will be taught and disseminated to the private sector. With this module, it is hoped that the understanding and awareness of the private sector regarding corruption as well as the anti-corruption movement and building a business with integrity can run more effectively, along with encouraging the reduction of corruption in Indonesia in general and the private sector in particular.
This module on How to Prevent Corruption in Corporations: Practices and Strategies was created with the aim that participants are able to apply practices and strategies to prevent corruption in corporations.
On behalf of the Corruption Eradication Commission, we would like to express our highest appreciation to all those who have worked hard to prepare this module. Hopefully this module will be useful for anti-corruption learning in order to improve business integrity in the private sector (business integrity).
