OVERVIEW PROFILE
Indonesia Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), a high-ranking state institution tasked with eradicating corruption, states that corruption is an extraordinary crime. Extraordinary crimes certainly require special handling to eradicate and also the active role of every element of the nation, both individually and institutionally.
The initiative to build an anti-corruption culture is not only supported by a system that is capable of preventing and detecting loopholes in corruption but must also be supported by individuals with integrity. Both the corruption prevention system in an organization and individuals in the organization have a very close relationship and influence each other.
To do that, KPK has 3 strategies called “Trisula Pemberantasan Korupsi”, i.e. (1) Enforcement, (2) Prevention, and (3) Education. The Directorate of Anti-Corruption Education and Training or ACLC (Anti-Corruption Learning Center) belongs to the third strategy, i.e. Education. In carrying out the strategy, the Directorate of Anti-Corruption Education and Training comprehensively designs the planning and implementation of training, starting from needs analysis, infrastructure preparation, curriculum preparation, teaching staff, material standardisation, integrity material delivery process, up to evaluation of various targets, both for KPK’s internal employees and other stakeholders such as public officials, state administrators, law enforcers, public organizations, political parties, communities, and the general public.
In addition to designing, preparing infrastructure, and organizing integrity training programs, ACLC is also a working unit that runs the Knowledge Management (KM) program at the organizational level of KPK. KPK realizes that its employees with diverse knowledge are invaluable assets to the organization. This knowledge must be developed, documented, and shared with other employees. With proper knowledge management, it will be easier for KPK to realize a corruption-free Indonesia.
ACLC also organizes an anti-corruption certification program as an empowerment effort to increase community participation in corruption prevention and anti-corruption education, by preparing change agents from various circles in Indonesia as Certified Anti-Corruption Instructors (PAKSI) and Certified Integrity Officer (API), following the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards.
